Fiberglass method – a short instruction
- Start with disinfecting our client's hands as well as your own hands using an antiseptic liquid.
- Soften the cuticles with proper liquid and push them backwards using metal cuticle pusher (the scoop ending) or stick.
- Matt gently but thoroughly the nail surface with polishing block or gentle file.
- To prevent air from getting under resin you have to pay special attention to the way you prepare wall of the nail area.
- Degrease the entire nail surface with a degreaser and leave to dry up.
- Apply a fine coat of thin resin on the whole surface.
- Cut out a piece of silk (remember about right size) then stick it and be sure not to touch the material afterwards. Leave about 1 mm gap between silk and the wall of the nail.
- Apply another coat of resin on 'soaked' silk.
- Spray the whole nail surface with activator. Hold the spray 20cm from the nail.
- When everything dries up apply thick resin, harden it using activator with brush applicator and shape the nail.
- Repeat the step number 10.
- File with fine file or polishing block to achieve the final shape and degrease.
- To make nails shine apply a gloss coat, which could be made of:
- Glitter nail polish
- UV- Top – hardening in a lamp required
- Glitter gel Perfect Finish - hardening in a lamp required
