How do you remove artificial nails?

Contrary to what one might think, the process of removing artificial nails also requires a professional approach. Therefore, we advise against attempting this on your own, especially for less experienced clients. Many of them, having decided against getting a refill, are, in a sense, waiting for their artificial nails to "die" on their own. When left like this (unattended), the nails get caught on things and often break off dramatically (along with the natural nail).Attempts to peel it off yourself or to file it improperly can damage the nail plate and seriously weaken it.That's how the myth that nail extensions damage your nails came about. In reality, however, it's the amateurish, aggressive removal of artificial nails that damages them.

If a client decides to remove her artificial nails herself using home methods, we recommend soaking them in acetone (removal solution for tips and acrylics ), trimming them, and then applying a strengthening treatment.
