The most common cause of expensive repairs is contamination.
Failure by the user to clean the milling machine's cutter (handle) can result in serious damage to the milling machine.A small amount of dust isn't a problem, but accumulated dust can cause the suction hose to become clogged, the clamping sleeve to seize up, and the micro-motor to seize.And when moist dust (which is heavier than dry dust) is drawn in, it can cause corrosion and short circuits in integrated circuits.
Our advice.
Every day, no later than after the last treatment, unplug the milling machine, unscrew the outer casing of the milling machine bit (handle), and clean all visible parts.It's best to use a small brush with stiffer bristles and a tissue for this.Wipe down the controller's housing with a damp cloth.These steps take 2–3 minutes to complete.

 

The user forgot to install the dust filter on the router, or accidentally punctured the dust bag while installing it.
In this case, dust enters the controller—which houses the integrated circuits responsible for controlling the milling machine—as well as the main motor and the final filter.Contamination of the above-mentioned parts can lead to engine overheating, seizure, and clogging of the ventilation chambers.
Our advice.
Insert the dust bag by moving it side to side, left and right..The bag must fit snugly over the air outlet pipe with dust.After installing a new bag, be sure to check (visually) that the bag is not damaged.

 

Harsh cleaning products.
Sometimes there isn't a cabinet for the milling machine in the office, and there's not much space.There are various items on the milling machine's control panel (creams, coloring agents, used cotton swabs, etc.).).When the housing of a milling machine controller gets dirty and the stains won't come off after they dry, people often turn to acetone or TP..funds.Using acetone or similar products is a big mistake.The liquid not only damages the casing, turning its glossy surface dull, but also seeps through microscopic cracks, causing them to stick firmly together; furthermore, it can even damage the integrated circuits mounted on plastic boards inside the controller.
Our advice. Do not use acetone or other acetone-based liquids to clean the milling machine.

 

Incorrectly selected spindle speeds for cutters and dust extraction capacity.
We often encounter setups where the milling machine is set to low RPM and has poor dust extraction capacity.This option is only suitable when collecting samples for mycological testing, although even in this case, the absorber can be set to the minimum or simply turned off.This action is brief.
When using caps, we recommend a speed of 8,000 to 10,000 rpm.(small caps, sizes 5' to 12,000./ min.) with a minimum absorption capacity of 3/4 or 5/4 of the power.We recommend these settings for hoods with mounts ranging in size from 5 to 10.The 13' models are larger, have a larger diameter, and in order for dust to enter the bag, the extractor's power must be set to maximum.
Other cutters, such as those from Busch, have special markings on the packaging that indicate the recommended RPM for each cutter..It's a good idea to follow this.
If the dust collector's suction is too weak, instead of being drawn into the hose and into the bag, the dust settles on the handle and the hands of the router operator.Dust that settles at the base of the cutter—that is, near the collet—has very little distance to travel before it enters the sleeve that holds the cutter.Microdust contaminates the sleeve and hardens inside over time.As a result, the cutter stops during operation even though the motor is running.It may also be impossible to insert the bit all the way into the chuck or to remove the bit from the handle.
There's a solution to that. Clean or place tiny silicone rings on the cutter shank and slide it down toward the cutter mounting sleeve.It is also important to ensure that the router speed and dust extraction power are set appropriately.

 

The milling machine fell to the floor.
The suction hose is not secured during operation; the shelf on which the milling machine is placed has no stop or is smooth..These are the most common causes of accidental milling machine tip-overs.However, if a milling machine breaks down, it results in the most expensive repairs and the replacement of a significant number of components.
