Rules for the FOTOPAZNOKCIE2012 Contest
- ORGANIZER
The contest is organized and the prizes are funded by Lady's Nails Cosmetics, with its registered office in Żory 44-240, at 63a Wodzisławska Street, hereinafter referred to as the Organizer, which owns the online store website www.ladys-nails.eu
- PURPOSE OF THE CONTEST
The goal of the contest is to select the 12 best photographs of nail designs inspired by the seasons and the specific months they represent.Next, the release of the 2012 calendar, featuring the winning entries.It will be available in our online store.
Entries will be judged based on their relevance to the theme, the creativity of the nail design, the cohesiveness and harmony of the design, the overall composition, the neatness of the work, and the technical quality of the photograph (resolution, sharpness, lighting)..
The contest is open to anyone involved in nail art, whether professionally or as a hobby.Only adults may participate in the contest on their own; minors may participate only with the consent of their legal guardians..Consent to participate should be sent by mail to the organizer's address or by email to: fotopaznokcie@ladys-nails.eu
- AWARDS
Nails of the Month - Four times a year, the jury will award three prizes (one for each month) worth 200 PLN each, redeemable in the LNC online store.
Nails of the Year - At the end of the contest, from among the 12 entries selected by the jury, female internet users will award the “Nails of the Year” prize, worth 500 zł, to be used in the LNC online store.
Each of the winning entries will be published on the LNC website and in the calendar, and will be credited with the stylist’s first and last name and city of residence.The "Nails of the Year" will also be featured on the calendar cover.
The authors of the winning entries will also receive a copy of the calendar and a certificate confirming their participation in the contest.
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, and the right to receive a prize cannot be transferred to third parties..
- DATE OF AWARD CEREMONY
The "Nails of the Month" awards will be presented in the following order:
- "Summer 2010" – by October 15 for July, August, and September
- "Fall 2010" – by January 15 for October, November, and December
- "Winter 2011" – by April 15 for January, February, and March
- "Spring 2011" – by July 15 for April, May, and June
The "Nails of the Year" award will be presented based on a survey available at www.ladys-nails.EU for registered female customers.The survey will run for one month, from July 15 to August 15, 2011.
If two or more entries receive the same, highest score, a one-week tiebreaker will be held between those entries.
The jury's decisions and the survey results will be published on the organizer's website.
- JURY
The jury consists of: a representative from Lady's Nails Cosmetics, a certified stylist with many years of experience, and a representative from the artistic department of Lady's Nails Cosmetics.
- TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR AWARDING PRIZES
The winners of all prizes will be notified of the results by email (at the address provided during registration in the Store)..
Each participant may submit one entry per month and may win once per season (for a total of up to four prizes of 200 zł each for shopping at the store), plus the chance to win a prize from other users (500 zł for shopping at the store).
Rewards in the form of gift cards for purchases at the Store will be valid indefinitely.The contest organizer covers the shipping costs for the prizes.
- DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING ENTRIES
Photos will be accepted for the contest from July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011, divided into the following conventional seasons:
- Summer 2010 – July 1 through September 30
- Fall 2010 – from October 1 to December 31
- Winter 2011 – January 1 through March 31
- Spring 2011 – April 1 through June 31
Photos submitted outside the specified time frames (for example, a photo for February submitted in June) will not be eligible for the contest.

The participant must be the creator of both the outfit and the photograph taken.Photos may not have been previously published or submitted to other contests.
If a complaint filed within 3 days of the publication of the nominations on the Organizer’s website is upheld, the entry will be withdrawn and replaced by the next highest-ranked entry as determined by the Jury.
The organizer makes every effort to ensure that the contest we are organizing is conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations.Despite its best efforts, it is not, however, able to monitor the entire Internet (including Facebook accounts) to ensure that the submitted works have not been published previously.
Complaints should be sent to fotopaznokcie@ladys-nails.EU and should include as much information as possible regarding the location (e.g., the exact URL) and date of publication of the disputed works.If possible, they should also include a screenshot (Eng..(screenshot) of the website publishing the work.
Any technique may be used (gel, acrylic, nail polish, tips, mold-applied, natural nails).The photos must show nail designs in any style on one—and preferably two—hands, without the artist's captions.Photos cannot be mixed.
Participation in the contest is free, but each participant must have an account in the Store, and photos must be sent from the email address provided during registration.
Family members and employees of the Organizer and the Jury are not eligible to participate in the contest.
Submitting photos to the contest constitutes acceptance of these rules and regulations, as well as consent to the processing of the author’s personal data for contest purposes, to the publication and use of the works on the Organizer’s website, and to processing for publishing purposes (including graphic editing), provided that the works will always be credited with the author’s first and last name and city of residence.
- REQUIRED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR PHOTOGRAPHS
Photos may be taken in portrait or landscape orientation, without a date or the author's signature.
They should be of the highest possible quality and the highest possible resolution.
The minimum photo size is 2816 x 2112 pixels (which means a camera with at least 6 megapixels).
Photos must be labeled with the name of the month they represent, e.g., March.jpg
- OTHERS
The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the rules and regulations.The changes take effect upon publication on the Website.
The jury’s decision is final and cannot be appealed, except in the following case: in the event of a violation of any provision of the rules or the discovery of plagiarism, the award may be revoked, and the winner will be required to return the equivalent value of the award along with the diploma awarded.In this case, a second prize will be awarded for that month.
Any legal claims against the Organizer or members of the Jury are excluded.
