The disposable scalpel blade is made from high quality Carbon V (carbon steel) surgical steel.
The blades are used for specialist surgical and dental cuts and for some podiatric work. Due to the very good quality of the blade it is possible not only to make precise surgical cuts with it but also to remove hard, calloused skin on the feet.
The shape of this blade (so-called belly) and its size are ideal for removing previously softened keratinised epidermis.
All of the above activities are performed after appropriate preparation of the skin.
The blade fits to the handle No 4.
Made in Germany.
